At the end of August of last year, Kelly McGarry, Eric Porter and Chris Vandine ventured off to the “Last Frontier”, Alaska! Harookz was on hand to capture all the action on still format. Filip Polc wins VCA 2011!
Congrats to MS-Evil/Gravity team rider Filip Polc for winning the Valparaiso Cerro Abajo race in Chile! It is labeled as one of the craziest urban downhill races in the world. Check out his helmet cam footage below to see for yourself.
Back on the Horse
An update from Kelly McGarry:
Well it has been 3 weeks since I came into contact with planet earth at a great rate of knots and broke my collar bone. I have been doing a fair bit of rehab stuff trying to get it working but at the end of the day a bone still takes 6 weeks to fully heal to the same strength it was. I have migrated to Queenstown now and I’m loving it down ere!! The new skyline gondola setup is off the CHIZ AIN!! This place is going to take off, it’s a great opposite season to Whistler so you can cut laps on your bike THE WHOLE YEAR! Woooohoooo!
My collarbone is starting to feel a bit stronger and I have been out for a couple of chilled rides.
Fingers crossed I will be able to have a roll at Farm Jam in a week!
